The Camp

The therapeutic community takes form in a 6-week Wilderness Camp by a lake in the North Okanagan, BC. Young people will work through the program in groups of 8 guided by team leaders, clinical professionals, and a multidisciplinary leadership team.

All young people and families will receive an individually tailored assessment and have active involvement in selecting the structure of their program to instill ownership, enjoyment, and empowerment.

In Week 1, parents will attend the camp for an independent 4 days/4 nights workshop. They will then return home but are invited to join the young person for individually scheduled family sessions for the remaining weeks.

Young people will stay at the camp from Weeks 2-6 to engage in a range of activities and therapeutic interventions. An assessment prior to camp will highlight the difficulties and challenges that prevent the young person from living the life they want to live. Together we will set goals for what they hope their life will look like and develop a plan for how to get there.
